I saw this crwaler for sale yesterday when I went to look at a tractor. It was $3000, was in great shape, and ran well. At over 26,000#, I was quite sure I couldn't haul it with the bumper hitch on my Tacoma!

I'd like to drive one of those old beasts with a steering wheel.

I hope you bought it.  You may need a Tundra to haul it, or maybe just hire it hauled.  What a classic machine!

No John, I did not. I have been able to hide a B or two from my wife, but I'm afraid there'd be no hiding that monster. But man, it sure was cool, and at $3K the price was right.

Here's the other monster he had for sale. This Best sold for $15K to a collector in California.

I wonder if they sold the L crawler also, I see the add is gone. For that money if it was closer I'd love to have it just for pushing stuff around, and then pushing it back. LOL

I saw that, too, but when I left Sat. AM it had not yet sold. I'll try to find out.

Lonnie, if you want to play with this L, you'll have to travel to Watertown, WI and visit Dale Hardtke. He's the new owner of this behemoth.

Thanks for the update, I'll have to put it on my things to do list. I think it was a good price on it, maybe not quite as good of a deal as your B.
