Need to replace the brakes on the 185, what kind of lube can one use mainly on the band linkages and on the balls or should I just kleen and free all parts and don't bother with any lube? Thanks Dave

white lithium on the linkages if you got some; otherwise some heavy lube , Red & Tacky is a good one.
Nothing on the balls or tracks…lube of any kind will attract and keep dirt & grit which will eventually “ gum up the works “ which can lead to unexpected lock-up.
Note that it is important to have the gap set correctly between the brake disc(s) and the housing per the manual.
