I need to upsize the front rims on my tractor. Originals are 4.5" wide and thinking I need 6.0" width. I changed front tires from 6.50", to 7.50" and used the original rims.

My original rims have a much heavier center to them than the replacements I've seen online. Also six welded webs to the rim opposed to four I've seen, and shown here:

https://www.agrisupply.com/on-bolt-circle-wheel/p/40941/" rel="nofollow - https://www.agrisupply.com/on-bolt-circle-wheel/p/40941/

I don't have a loader and not planning to install one, but do carry three suitcase weights always on the front and mow ditches, etc. I went with Firestone four rib, eight ply tires in F-2 pattern in memory serves and with the way they are "rounded" through the tread really cut into the grass upon turning. I'd like to flatten the tires out as they should be.

Anybody have recommendations to call for obtaining good quality rims? I'm not opposed to sending these to a place in California I've used in the past to make what I'm wanting; if that is the only option. They would reutilize the original centers installing with the offset needed.

My old Clark TLB has bent agriculture rims on the steer axle and someone prior to my ownership installed those so I've seen the result of too light duty of rim for the application.

I just recently went the other direction - had 16 x 8 wheels with 7.50-16 tires on my 190XT, I bought a pair of 16 x 6 wheels (3500#) and the tires look much better on the proper wheel. The fresh paint looks a little nicer too. If the outfit in California that you dealt with before was Stockton Wheel I heard the building burned down and they didn't rebuild. Our current supervisor at work was the store manager at Stockton Les Schwab (tire store) less than a year ago, and Stockton Wheel came up in a discussion at work last week.

I have used New Holland round baler rims with no problem on the front of a couple tractors, they are a heavy rim.The one set is on the front of an AC 185 that I had a loader on for awhile and the other is an Oliver 1365 with a loader I use to mover round bales.

I do believe it was Stockton Wheel but haven't been in the files to verify. Had them install 7.5X15 larger rims onto my 4.0" bolt circle Chrysler "A" body wheels for my Barracuda.

My front rims have a very deep negative offset to them. Almost 5.0" with a tape measure and seems a bit of an oddity. Inside sidewall of tires clear top of king pins by about 1/2" on each side. There was more clearance with the original 6.50X16 three rib tires, but not a lot. I'll grab photos later today and post.

Thanks for the help.

These are a 6X6 bolt circle pattern. I don't know the hub diameter but will probably remove a wheel this morning and measure parameters.
