I have a Massey Ferguson 220 about the same as the AC 5030,bought it with the front axle of the 4WD broken.seller couldn't find any parts so I bought it and swapped out the 2WD axle from an AC 5020 parts tractor I have, has been a good little tractor to run a 4ft tiller. They are hard to find parts for.

I have a 5020 that  is my lawnmower.  I love it.  They give a new meaning to compact tractor.

Are you needing anything specific?

Only driven it once so far. Hope to be mowing and tilling with it soon. Seems like a fun little tractor. Hopefully I dont need anything too hard to find.

I already have a line on a hood, fenders and some levers and knobs. Cosmetics at this point. What do you have?

Thanks all for the responses! Trying to get the dash off currently to replace the ignition switch. The wires are so damn short. What's the trick to removing it?

Also, Oil pressure light is on. Plenty of oil on the dipstick. It's black but it's all there!

Have a couple of these.
While good on fuel and reliable theres a few items that are a pain. I guess to be expected as they are one of the first foreign
compact diesels.
No live PTO
No power steering
No syncro trans.
But it has the good looks of the 7000’s so thats why i like em.

I have a 5020 - there ok for the years they were made - tranmission speeds are a little off- and my biggest complaint is getting off and on the dang thing- just aggrivating!!

Upon further inspection its the alternator light. Not the oil light.

Unfortunately I'm having trouble getting into gears. I've adjusted the clutch a little but not having great results. I'm starting to fear the worst and I'll have to split the tractor.

Also noticed last night the alternator light was on because there is a damaged/melted plug on the back of the alternator. Add it to the list.
