UPDATE- it is sold!! I have for sale a Front pedistal for a WD. I put a wide front on my WD some years ago. It was a good tight steering narrow front. Located near Deep River Iowa. I can load it with the WD and loader probably. I am asking $50 CASH for it at pick up. Some free advice (that is probably worth what you paid for it!). I found the easiest way is to remove the left frame rail (left is easier so you don't have to mess with the belt pulley). After you get it loose, drive a chisel in to separate the frame rail.
Before you put a lot of pressure on the 8 bolts at the front of the frame rails, rap them a few times with a 3 lb. (or bigger) hammer to break some of the bond. They have probably been on there for close to 70 years and I have seen a lot of them broken off. It looks like a lot easier job than it actually is. |
