Owner before didnt use holes in d17 drilled more 9 inches back makes it hard to get on tractor why wouldnt he use original holes already drilled mount lines up and makes it easier to enter and get off would there be reason he moved it back?

Do you mean he drilled new holes 9" back from the originals up front beside the Engine Block.

If he was able to do that and the Boom still clears the Rad Shroud, it must be an extra long Boom.

An extra long Boom would add a considerable amount of weight to the Front Axle.

Yes he drilled 9 " back from original ones makes it very difficult to get on or off just wondered why?

The closer the loader is to the front of the tractor, the more weight it can lift before the rear wheels leave the ground. The downside is you can't reach over a fence or the side of a manure spreader as far.

You would have to ask the previous owner about that.  Some people do pretty strange things...
