I got the tractor about 11 months go and the tach didn't work. I didn't use it much but started using it for field work a couple months ago and the tach started working. I had to replace the solenoid a couple weeks ago and it doesn't work again. I am convinced disconnecting the ground cables to install the solenoid had something to do with it. Will it start working again? I don't think these are available, either from Agco or any aftermarket source. I have even checked salvage yards with no luck. There are electronic tachs available but they are all very high RPM and I doubt they would be as accurate as one designed for the RPM range of the tractor.
