I use a 100 amp 10SI Delco . You need one with three small terminals for the tach to work. A wiring change is required and a larger pulley too, if you want the tach to read correctly.  I see that Shoup offers a complete assembly for sale.  Alternator, pulley, and small wiring adapter for that application.

Someone asked this a month ago and  it seems like "MOST" of the Delco with the tach terminal are now 1 wire units.... Search of GOOGLE does not show much for the original 3 wire alternators with the extra "tach"..... but i did not look everywhere.

That's a good price on that 3 wire. That's the way to fly. As Lynn mentioned it would need the larger pulley or use your pulley. Still utilizes the same .670 shaft.

Just curious: Where exactly does the "R" terminal tap into? Is it reading one phase or all of them?
