Dear members,

Hi there, writes Tony, a Swede near Gothenburg in Sweden. Thanks for giving me this opportunity as a foreigner, much appreciated! I am a former professional engine -, car - and workshop mechanic for more than 45 years.
A couple of years ago I stumbled over this A C 7G Series B crawler loader from about 1975-1978.
I am recovering from a severe heart attack in another place so I am not able to check it out by myself at this moment, so please help me out with the following:

I need to know the thread for the screws for the removal tool on the crankshaft pulley for the 3500 II so I can be prepaired with a tap for cleaning them and screws when the snow have melted. Are they UNC or UNF..? If at hand, please let me also know how deep they go. Thumbs Up
Kindest regards & thanks for the time
Tony

Welcome to the forum... sometimes it takes a while before you get the input you need. I don't have a machine like yours. When the HD7G's were new back in the 60's I got a new brochure of one of these - in Swedish of all things - Heja Sverige! Smile
Take care - Eric

Hey Tony… Randy here from North Carolina.. did you get your answer on the front pully???
I have a timing question you might can answer on this same machine. Do you know the injection pump timing procedure for this machine???
Many thanks

I have an old parts manual but it shows the engine as being a 3-71 Detroit Diesel so I think it is too old to do you any good.

The 3-71 has a 1" NF x 4" long bolt holding the front crankshaft pulley on if anyone cares.
