Anyone have a good used one? Closer to central Iowa the better.

Got a pm in response to this from a user I had never heard of. The usual, i-mail this guy, he has one. Danieman78 is the user name. Joined less than a month ago, has 0 points. Doubt if I'll be contacting his 'buddy'!

Thanks Bill, I'll be in contact.

Thanks Lynn. This story has taken an interesting turn. The drive I got from All-States was too long and I had taken the original apart. In desperation, I put it back together, it works! So at least in the short term I don't need one. Tractor is still basically a pig-in-a-poke but at least it's in a shed now. More later in the proper category.

That's the main reason why I don't sell Starter, or Generator parts for the old Tractors. Books are never right. Once I tear the customer's unit down, then I know what I'll need and order the parts specifically for that particular unit.
