| went to a antique shop today, found a brand new (not in a box) Aliis Chalmers barge box toy wagon and i bought it! have sen them sell on auctions for a whole lot more than I had to pay. plus I haven't seen one anywhere for years! ads to my collection! |

Quite often I see people are willing to pay more for a toy than the real thing. The toy goes on a shelf to collect dust and no kid will ever be allowed to touch it, let alone play with it. Our economy is terrible that people have so much money to pi$$ away. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

several years ago, i went to a toy farm tractor show, and bought a D21 (dual wheels) still in box. I paid the guy and then commented to him how much my young grandkids would enjoy playing with it. The terror in his face was priceless. Came home, took it out of box and gave it to the kids. My wife and I both agreed that we would get our money back in enjoyment of watching them enjoy playing with it. Shameless.... glad you found something that you enjoy.

Yes: TOYS are meant to be played with, whether they are 1:1 scale big toys or anything smaller. ------------- If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere. Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

| Congrats Shameless. As a kid, I got a new AC barge wagon & AC One-Ninety XT III. Played with them so much, I wore the rubber tires clean off the XT’s front white plastic rims. Didn’t stop it, it just made cooler tracks. Wagon tires survived though. My brothers & I would play farm the tillered soil spaces between our family’s garden rows of green beans, potatoes, etc. we had a couple of pull type plows that would clog up if clods were there. Dad gave us an old garden rake teeth head that it’s handle bustle. We fashioned a hitch on rake hard & used it a field cultivator. Had a jD 494 planter. I was the only brother with AC blood. Still am. |
