620 with Onan CCKB. I keep running out of fuel. One task in particular, if I start out with full tank, I am on fumes and worried about driving back home on the road. Anyone ever make a larger fuel tank? Looks like the stock tank is maxed out on width (crosswise).
Fwd/aft length, the oil cooler is right there. I think the tank could have been taller?

I have already leaned out the main jet adjustment as much as I think is prudent.
I keep the blades sharp.
Are there things you can do to make the CCKB appreciably more fuel efficient?

Another question. How is fuel economy after a re-power with Briggs or Honda?
I have a modern 48" OHV machine with slightly smaller tank. Used
it a few times and can complete the job with plenty gas to spare. However, this
machine is 1/2 the weight. But I do need to run it longer to finish.
Thanks.

The factory tank is as large as it gets. The Onan loves fuel. If you have 3 pt make a simple rack that will hold a spare can of fuel to drop off at the work site. Easiest solution I have
