What should you say about something that was running when parked?  Sometimes it's actually the case. . .

I like the duck tape holding the rain cap shut. It still has the throttle on the front console so must be a early one.

I did not need to see that.
That's not to far.
And I have a rotary pump 12 valve.

Closer to 10k. Maybe even the far side of 10k. Full set of weights and it's straight as a string. Fair matching rubber. Looks like a straight off the farm flatland rowcrop tractor that's never seen cow sh!t or silage. It's also being offered by  a well known dealer.

Looks good but the engine being locked up could be any number of worms in the can.
And when you bid, don't forget they want another 10% greed, err buyers fee!

I used to have one pretty much identical to it, but it burned up in a fire. It was one of my favorite tractors

Have a 8030 and 8050 mfwd. The 8030 is definitely one of my favorite tractors. Part of me would like 2wd also. I think by the time bidding ends plenty of folks will be surprised at what it brought.

Nice looking tractor for sure. But, I’m always leery when they are locked up and you don’t know any history. Hard to tell what else may be wrong with it. Of course if one would get it at a good price and your a gambler, it just may pay off.

It be like the 4wd 8050 I tried to buy years ago went to what I was more than enough and had been sitting for years was told it was parked due to a scored piston. Seen the guy that bought it couple years later asked him did he overhaul the tractor said nope that thing cranked up and wasn’t a thing in the world wrong with it and still running it that was 7 years ago now....

My luck is just the opposite of that. I could buy something prestine and get it home and it wouldn't run

Darrell, we both usually have the same luck but I purchased a non-running, ran when parked WD a few years ago. I did know a little history that it did run when the local owner parked it in 2004, he passed shortly after. It was free when I looked at it, 16 years later I bought it cheap. Less than $200 later it ran great. New 6v battery ate up much of the cost, it has been a joy to run ever since. Best $300 purchase price I’ve ever spent. For once it worked out for me.
