With me right now.
A couple weeks ago my motorcycle group had our annual meet n greet here.
A couple friends from New York asked if they could park a wrecker at my house during the meet n greet. I said yes.
Jenny was out of town and I didn’t think it would hurt a thing.
Well turns out it’s a 60000 lbs KW that they bought at auction.
They went to leave with it last Sunday.
Was a chore getting out of our driveway and bigger chore getting from out road on to the hiway.
In the process of gettin on the hiway it blew the main differential.
They called me up and I came home and hooked my ole GMC to it and pulled it back down the road to get it out of the way.
They were supposed to retrieve it by the end of last week.
It’s still there.
Now Jenny’s home and not impressed my sister-in-law lives down the road and isn’t impressed and we have one other neighbor that uses the road. His wife isn’t impressed either.
Funny thing is, my neighbor my brother and I were all stopped in the road admiring the big beast and we were all quite impressed and wish we could keep it.

It appears to me the heat in the dog house isn’t on her list of priorities

Take it from a man experienced in the art of living with multiple females, get the heat going on the doghouse.

Point out to at least you wife that it's not your money being gobbled up by it. They do have a hard time being patient with your friends, I can hear the exact words "tell your friends to get this piece of crap out of my yard" If it was running and you could use it to help her or the neighbor with a project all would be good.

Funny how things work in rural America
There is a bridge on our road just a little ways behind that truck. It’s way way over the weight limit on that bridge.
The county hasn’t worked on or looked at that bridge in years. Today they felt the need to inspect it and fill in the wash out that’s over 2 years old.

I must say I wondered about that myself?
Could it be driven long distance like that?
I believe it’s 1200 miles or so.
I also think it could have been repaired and on the road by now and for less than hauling it???

The guys and I were laughing at lunch today. They said I should put a sign on it that says Browns towing.
The rumors would be flying.
My boss has already asked a lot of questions.

Hey Thad, load them G's on it and bring it on down. That'll make a hell of a spreader truck . Then I can tell her "it's Thad's I'm just borrowing it"

I’d trade the truck and G’s for a nice mountain Howitzer. You can even tell her the trucks mine.

I was driving this morning when I saw this tow truck driver sobbing uncontrollably and looking miserable.

I thought to myself, “This guy is heading for a breakdown.”

All the husbands in Busch Arkansas are sad.
Big red headed for New York this afternoon.
It didn’t give up without a fight.
They hired a local with a big wrecker to tow it up to the hiway and load it. That wrecker broke down on our road as well.
He rolled a brake cam past center.
They got it fixed and got the guy rolling.

Still say that thing would have made a fine t**d slinger. If only I could've found a mountain howitzer to trade for it

Cant say t**d? Really?
