Dang went to my ole favorite on the puter to check on a driving distance and loe and behold the site was "upgraded for my convenience"'

So now i have to allow the site to put an add on to the software.  I bailed out.

Is there another program like the ole mapquest out there?

If there is one out there they are probably doing the same thing. I have used MapQuest a good bit in the past but no "add ons" for me either. Usually when they come out with something "new and improved" it is usually designed to get more of your information and doesn't work as well as the original.

Wow, ‘Mapquest’ haven’t heard that name in ages.
On my phone, I have Goggle Maps, and Apple Maps.

I have been using Ad-Blocker and it removes much of the pop-up adds on most sites .
It just had a add on feature that stops the commercials running on You tube videos also
Seems the puter is getting like commercial TV - several adds and then 3 minutes of program and then more adds .
