Last night I got to meet Tyler and Joe Murphy.
I felt like I’d known them for years.
I reckon I have known Joe for 20 years but never met in person.
I’ll say they were both sure enough good guys.

We had a very good time.
Tyler you have a beautiful family .

I can’t wait it hang with you guys again.
Hopefully you guys will find me a good deal on a howitzer and I’ll be back for it.

Thad, it was a pleasure to meet ya in person after so many years, Tyler as always good to see you and the beautiful ladies of your family! Y’all have a safe trip back West!

We got home about 3:00 this afternoon.
The Civil war relic show in Chattanooga was awesome.
Joe, Tyler it was a privilege to meet y’all. Tyler thanks for supper.

I remember seeing a piece in the paper some years ago (probably 10 or better) that said there was a guy around Sixes I believe that restored old artillery pieces. May not be there now but I don't know

Hubert I give you my word.
I was at the mercy of my traveling bud and we kept to an itinerary.
I hope to one day have a NC GA TN trip. I have lots of ancestors in Wilkes County NC. I plan to visit graves.
I have 3 confederate crosses to place while I’m there. Still searching one grave.
And yes I must agree I sure did meet two fine fellows and 3 good girls. Was a true blessing.
I was a bit snake shy for a few days after I got home. Kind of jumpy every time I stepped on a stick.
