Who makes a "RELIABLE/Quality" quick/change "Stanly Knife " type of a knife ?? I gave up on the original Stanley brand , was at the local Menards and they don't even offer ANYTHING Stanley in tapes or knives anymore. I did NOT want the  "mastercraft" version of a knife, so I splurged for a LENOX brand, made in USA thinking I'm doing myself a favor (more $$= better quality) , was I ever WRONG !!!! What a POS this Lenox tool is AngryAngry !!
What's the go-to knife that you guys use ??

It all about the post count Steve. The only thing he has to do, is sit there drinking his beers and dreaming up his next question.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

I should stay away from this but-I used alot of knifes in my trade and Lenox had by far the best blades. But I would use a couple a day. I think it is operator error. Did you put the blade in the right way. (there is a right way to put them in) People in the trades must just love you!!!!!!

Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!

I picked up a couple from Ace hardware years ago. I use them several times a week. They are not quick change blades. I had several of them and they were all crap. These I gotta have a flattop screwdriver to change blades.

i hafta buy them by the dozen. the old lady....oooops....i mean the loving wife will grab one to do something, lose it, then come get another, lose it, then another...only way i was able to keep one over a month is i hid it in a charcoal briqette sack. i usually find most the ones she lost about a year later all rusted up. they usually never even get a first blade change! finally started buying them at HF or wally world at about $1.99 ea. i bought a 100 pack of new blades years ago, package has never been opened.

I use a Stanley to cut the big round bales when I feed the cows.  Keep a sharp blade in it and works good

Here is one of the handiest tools, takes standard sawzall blades, and the blade folds into the handle.

After buying one of those cheap Husky fold up with quick change I can’t imagine buying anything else. Maybe a different brand but the design is small and hard to beat.
The others just don’t “cut” it.

But will they "Cut" the Mustard, or Whack the job time away, perhaps they are a Cut above or a Slice of precious time saved!!!

Doesn’t have to be Husky.  Lowes sells a Kobalt not sure what Menards Carrie’s. Our local hardware Carrie’s Sheffield. Very nice but a bit more pricy.
Mine just happens to be Husky.
HD is the closest box store.
Amazon Carrie’s several.
Google folding utility knife.

I have a Schrade folding utility knife. it uses standard utility blades locks open and is a quick change blade. I think it was a wallmart one time christmas purchase item.  most of the time I use the old stanley gota have a screwdriver to change the blade fixed knife. its hanging from a loop of parachute cord on the end of my tool box. never closes on you and has extra blades in the handle the hardware store. still sells the and blades.
