| Anybody on here ever deliver them? Reason I ask, I had to travel to north west Iowa today, while driving west on I80 someone pulling 1 on a trailer passed me. Mounted on the side of the vault trailer was a spare tire, but it wasn't. It was a brand new 10:00x16 3 rib front tractor tire mounted on a 6 hole rim, still had the little knobs on it. I cannot think why they had this mounted up for a spare. Do they have a use for them while setting the vault? |

| Vault makers around here deliver their own, ton trucks, sometimes two or three at a time to funerary support companies. |

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would question the legality of using a non-highway rated tire for a spare on a trailer used on the highway ------------- I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. | As with most things funeral the farther you stay from the professional undertaker the cheaper it is. The church I belong to still has and uses a country cemetery. We have found a concert products company that sell vaults, direct to use. Hundreds of dollars cheaper than having undertaker get it. So I have hauled some, nice load in the box of a 3/4 ton pickup. |
