I inherited an old D 15 from my father in law...he has always talked about how the scoop and the brush hog have a tendency to ever so slowly lower down.....I am trying to locate the hydraulic fluid cap...right in front of me below the seat to the left of center is a hole that would have originally had a cap on it but it has always been stuffed with an old rag (lost cap) ever since I have known the tractor.... Is that the hydraulic fluid hole for a cap. Someone thought having a true cap on that hole might help seal in the pressure.... for that matter I need to learn where the transmission oil is etc.... it has always run for the most part on what my father in law called "deferred maintenance"   Any help on hydraulic fluid location would be appreciated...and if I have the right location...getting the right cap for it....

| Hydraulic oil check/fill location is under the gas tank on the right side of the torque housing. Transmission/differential oil is close to the gearshift. Power Director/PTO gears is next to the instrument panel on the left and takes a wrench. Power steering oil is behind the grille screen. |

If the hydraulic pump section is low on oil(checked running, loader up max high...), check the diff dip stick !
