Steve, I agree with everything said above but I think you already enjoy life. Yes, it will change. It did for me 18 years ago. But now you will be able to choose how you spend your time. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Bob@allisdowneast

Yes enjoy, now you will wonder how you ever got everything done because there don't seem like there is enough hours in the day to do all you want to do. Hope you enjoy retirement as much as I do.

Congratulations Steve, your going to like it. No more getting called out. It does take awhile not working the big storms to get over that.

Thank you all for the retirement wishes. Actually I vacationed out for 4 weeks prior to today, but as Joe said, its official today!! Thank you Joe for remembering! You're the best! Jo Jo and I have been busy doing things together. I've been helping her out with her hobby projects, and she's been out in the barn a few times helping me with her new "grocery getter" Nova Station Wagon. She's also been helping me out with the new Model T hotrod chassis I'm building for the 26' Coupe. Sooo, I have her busy to! Retirement is great! I highly recommend it! I'm finally starting to get some of my crap done instead of everybody elses. LOL! And I'm a lucky man to have the wife I have! She's one of those "rare" ones.... Steve@B&B

So Steve... (maybe I have missed some other thread with details) does this mean you are shutting down or selling your business? You've been a real 'corner stone' for Allis electrical. I trust you'll be on here like before. Your business and presence on the forum has been such a resource, many thanks to you and happy retirement!! Eric

Big John has it right. I retired from my regular job at the power co. after 40 years and now concentrating on our business a bit more, and of coarse my projects so don't worry Eric, B&B is still goin'. Thank you for the kudos though its appreciated. Thank ya Dan the man. I'll still be here in everybody's hair yet. Come this Spring, I plan on starting on the RC resto, then after that ole' "Hercules" my WC may get fitted with a Chevy inline 250 six cylinder if the deal goes through, so I'll be busy havin' fun. I'll even have more time to take some pics to! LOL!

Have fun working on your projects and your wife's . Thank God everyday you are able to work on projects you want to do for fun. Last time I believe I talked with you at a show was the LaPorte show in Ind. Wish you and JoJo many more years of happiness and health during your retirement.
