Any post Covid survivors on here participating in any Covid follow-up studies? Here’s a link that talks about lingering symptoms. Having survived covid 9 months ago, I am still recovering from it. If I physically over exerted myself, I quickly break into a sweat, have shortness of breath, & fatigue. https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/07/brain-fog-heart-damage-covid-19-s-lingering-problems-alarm-scientists" rel="nofollow - https://www.sciencemag.org/news/2020/07/brain-fog-heart-damage-covid-19-s-lingering-problems-alarm-scientists

Heard same results from two here in town that survived WEEKS of being on a vent, drained and been 'healed' for over three months each.

Younger brother had three ex coworkers become Long Haulers, worst one died, second was three MONTHS on a vent, is having to learn how to walk, eat and speak/write/communicate again and is not going well.  Brain was starved for O2 a LONG time.  The last a woman is physically incapable of holding a conversation as gets distracted or becomes suspended for periods of time as her mind just locks out.

And yet some still don't take it seriously and some even think it's a hoax.......

Good that you are recovering.

I'm not participating in any studies.
I have been over C-19 a year now, I notice some of the same symptoms,, sweat easy, get tired out quickly and get short of breath sometimes. I allowed that a lot was due to my severe summertime allergies, and they may have some effect also, also allowed some to my age,and not in the best physical condition, thing is, I really  noticed that my allergies are acting up as bad as in the past, so what gives here? covid cured my allergies??

No studies around here that I'm aware of.  I sweat like a pig these days, but I could lose a few pounds and it's been pretty dang hot and humid and I don't take it easy......My sister on the other hand, she's got the "brain fog" pretty bad.  Whether it's O2 related or not, I don't know, she was on a LOT of it.  Could be a different virus mechanism too, we don't know.

No study here, but wife and I both had it. Down for a day or 2 and then back to normal. No effects lingering at all.

I have been over Covid a year now and I too have shortness of breath, get tired out quickly, headaches and fatigue.  I've always sweated rather profusely, so I don't know if that is a problem in my case.
I still can't smell things.  Like flowers or normal smells.  Things that are really pungent, I can, but just barely.  My taste came back kind of quickly,,,,,,,a few weeks,,,,,,,,but still isn't the way it was.

I'm not participating in any studies either.  I wasn't aware that there was any such thing.

I didn't get it but I have a lot of the same symptoms.  I think mine is caused from my cancer!  I can't do much of anything and I gotta sit down in the shade and drink some water.

Like a lot of things, it seems to affect people differently.

A couple that are friends of mine, in their 50's, had COVID in March. She says she is pretty much back to normal, but he still has weakness and doesn't tolerate heat at all.

My 82 year old aunt had it about the same time and didn't have much problem with it, but she did pass away two weeks ago (not from COVID).
