Hello, its me again !  Great news. I managed to actually drive the 7080 today.  I installed new shifting cables this week...one for the hi-lo-park lever, and the second one for the twisting of the T handle. I drove it around for twenty minutes playing with the controls. I was able to get into gears one and five....also into gears two and three.  But I was not able to get into four or reverse.  The mechanism doesn't seem to have enough movement using the twist. Not sure why. It does not appear to have any slop. Looks like more adjustments are necessary.

The hi-lo-park lever works great.   The foot actuated power director is smooth and responsive.   Both left and right brakes work as well- that was a big bonus ! The PTO will rotate and it will respond to on-off lever action. One of the three hydraulic remotes was able to force a cylinder in and out.  The other two have frozen cables, so obviously didn't function.  I was so pleased with what I saw today.  But I do have several items that I need advise.

one........ The 3 point hitch will not go down.  The cable actuator moves, but has no effect.

two......the steering wheel continues to rotate freely when the engine is off.  The steering wheel will operate when the engine is running, but acts a bit sluggish.  It works, but sometimes I felt that it had a delayed response.

three....the T handle twisting.  Is there any way to gain total throw of the small triangle shaped gizmo under the floor - the one that moves the shifter into three different positions ?

the 3pt lift ramis single acting, so add a little weight to see of the 3pt drops. might just be stiff. valve could be hung up too.

Steering, have you greased the spindles?
