This coming week is the Loretta Lynn’s motocross race. The first race was held there in 1982 which was the same time the ranch used allis chalmers on the ranch.I find it interesting to see these old pictures of the race with the tractors in the background. I’d like to find more info linking the two. Motocross and allis chalmers are my interests so I wanted to share these pictures I just came across. Some are hard to see. In background vary tiny, just see 8000 cab roofs in some.

A friend of mine and former coworker goes there every year and races. He enjoys talking to Loretta's kids. He told me Loretta doesn't come around as much as she used to. Age is getting to all of us.

In picture #1 there is a 4W-305 tractor and in pic #4 maybe a 5040 and a gravity wagon.

yea when I posted the pictures on here there smaller then the originals. The pictures that you can’t really see anything obvious. If you blow them up. Mostly 8000 cabs. One has 6000 with rops, and next to 4w305 is a 7000. If you google 1982 Loretta Lynn’s motocross there’s a video and shows some allis tractors next to track, and a big allis chalmers sign

In pic #4 it looks like a 5000 series possibly a black belly ..... 5045? that is headed to the right. It is above and to the left of the one with the gravity wagon. The other one on the gravity wagon.... could that be a 6140?

Pic #7 looks like two 8000 series and possibly a 6000 series with rops and another 6000 series with a cab.

7000 series behind that 4-305 and a 8000 series followed by a 5000 series in pic #5.

Definitely someone in a Honda hat taking a leak by a tree in pic #10. Wink LOL

May also be a 5030 facing towards the gravity box? Not sure, but really cool pictures. Thanks for posting these, man I wish I would be back in 1984 and be able to change history. AC would still building great tractors.

yes Dave I only put the pictures with allis tractors in them. The site that I seen and saved them from were bigger and could see them better. Sorry I don’t know what happened to size when I put them on here
