I know that some of the people on here can get a little short with you when you aim your snow machine sites in their direction. To be honest, I have too. But today, I will gladly take the white fluffy stuff. Here in Kossuth County, I, we are planting corn in dry dirt and we will take moisture in whatever form it takes.

By my count, this makes three on the backs of the robins. My neighbors cow lot and barn roof is now white. And as I type, it has now stopped and a drizzling rain is all that remains.

Yes Tim, it is as dry as a popcorn pfart here too.  It has been sprinkling, but no snow and really not much rain either.  Hopefully it'll keep coming down for the next week though.

For some reason he just fell short this year on the amount of snow we got.  Not that I'm complaining or anything, but we sure could use the moisture and I'm sitting on sand.

So yeah, I'm prayin to the Good Lord,,,,,let it rain for the next week!!  Nice and gentle soaker!

Sorry to go off topic, my grandmother was from Kossuth county the Algona area. As a kid we would visit her sister just outside Irvington. Nice place, nice people but being from WI I couldn't get used to the scenery just corn, everywhere corn.

Sorry to hear you guys are so dry. I truly had no idea.   In my neck of the woods, it has been raining so much that I didn't spray my pasture for thistles this year.   You guys are talking about snow, which is amazing to me. The Temps here are in the eighties today. Same country, different world. I would love to send a little water up your way, but for now prayers will have to do. I hope you get some rain soon.
