Anyone know of a good replacement carburetor for the original Zenith VD carb on an Onan MS 2026 G engine?

My understanding is that with age the Zenith VD carb is prone to leakage between the air and fuel quadrants. Would appreciate hearing from other members if they have replaceed their old Zenith VD with an updated carburetor.
