Looks like you have a couple of great pieces of equipment there; clean looking. I like the extra axle on the combine. Dad added one to his 60 combine and greatly improved the ride as I remember. Maybe a dumb question but what is the item with the "knives" lying on the ground?
You have some great background scenery too. Thanks for the pictures and let us know about your work on those ACs.

I would like to add that wheel set up to my 60 All Crop bagger engine drive combine. I am trying to put as many options on one combine as I can. I just completed the electric start option on the engine.

Those knives belong under the straw hood for the flail type straw spreader. Ryan

Also in the picture with the straw spreader is a windrow spreader that goes at the top of the bottom draper in front of the cylinder. I never in my 55 years have ever seen one except in a manual or brochure. You have a great find!!! Ryan

that was my next question is what that is i could not figure where it mounts what side is the gear box on   and what realy is it supposed to do

It mounts toward the top of the header and that "finger" moves back and forth, it spreads windrowed crops out for more even feeding into the cylinder. Gear box mounts on right side of the header. Should be another sprocket already on the combine to drive that.

i did not see a sprocket but i will look agian ,  do you see the rusty pulleys on the left side of the header  what could they be for?  ihave taken the drive shaft off and i need to clean the carb change the plugs witch still have orange paint on them and the oil filter is still the soup can looking style witch would be neet to find an other one i will save it for parade show day along with the spark plugs  . i am hoping the cylinder tach still works i will give it some tlc before i turn it ,  i have not found a worn bearing on the thrasher and have most taking grease so far  .   were do i find drapers ? the top one looks like it has  about 4inch tines on each bar

The pulleys on the left side are for a rotary pickup in front. I would like to see a more better picture of this upper draper with 4" tines?? Ryan

not much left of the upper draper i will put whats left in a pile and take a picture of it .   got  engine running but no oil pressure  gauge works  took oil filter base off cleaned every thing good  blew back threw stem with light compressed air , hope i didnt ruin the corks in the rocker shaft .       then hooked a vacuum pot up and it would draw up oil so i will put a tee in between the gauge and base and hook it to a pressure pot full of oil and start it and see what the gauge does and see if it picks up but i think something is wrong with the sump

I'm thinking the upper draper you described with the 4" tines is actually the rotary pickup that goes in front so pictures would help. Ryan
