I have a loud noise in the blower motor on my 7060, looking for tips on how to go about taking it apart to service or replace this motor.

Take cab roof off for access to blower motor. Might find one on line or contact Heitman Salvage. https://www.heitmantractorsalvage.com/" rel="nofollow - https://www.heitmantractorsalvage.com/

Has anyone ever removed a roof from a cab, just wondering if I will come across any surprises, it's a long way up there.

Not particularly difficult. Heavy and awkward though. Best to have someone catch it if you take it clear down. Otherwise I threw a couple long boards across to hold it out of the way when working in that area. Likely will be very dirty. Ultimately I took it clear off cleaned and added rock wool to the cavity. Then replaced the roof bolt washers with new rubberized washers to keep water out
