This week I brought home my 3rd 2000 series disc.   Number 1 purchased 1/2 & 1/2 with my father 20+ years ago was a 2200 with manual wings.   Number 2 was a 2300 with manual wings.   What an improvement in weight , bearings, etc.!   Number 3 is a 2300 with the black gangs  &  hyd. wings.   Again WOW what an improvement .     To my amazement though I don't  see any way built into the disc to manually retain the ext. gangs in the upright position during long term storage.   I own a copy of A/C Manual #573261 for the operation of the 2300 Series Disc but there is no mention of this in the options section.   Has any one out there in "Unofficial Allis Land" have any experience with this.  I am sure that I'm overlooking something on the parts that are put on with the hyd. option.  Also I'm missing 4 of the bent flat iron holders that hold the scrapers to the extension gangs.  Would be in the market to buy if anyone has them!    Thanks,   Housemover

Maybe the wings are like the 1200 series fieldcultivator where you have to raise the wings hydraulically and then push by hand the wings over center so they rest in a position where they can't lower. Then when you want them down you hydraulically lift the wings so they are to that over center point and then you push them over center by hand and then lower them hydraulically.

Any way you could post a photo of what you have in the hinge area? Mine has locking pins.

The pin in the top hole needs to be put into the empty bottom hole for transport.

Another pic:

Do you see the pins with the quick pins?   And the lower hole?
