I would like to take my D-15 to some land I own 70miles away to get some work done.
I was wondering how much it weighs. No wheel weights but tires are loaded. I have a chevy silvarado 1/2 ton and a 16 ft. car hauler trailer.

I have loaded rears on my 45 and have hauled it with the 7,000lbs. carhauler many times. As long as the trailer brakes work, you shouldn't have any problems.  Charlie

I haul my L 35 Loader Backhoe on a 7000# Hudson, brakes on both axles. The Tractor/loader backhoe weighs 6000#, so I am a tad over max. I pull with a 94 1/2 ton with 4.3 engine. Always careful to balance the trailer so it don't wag. I suspect if you add an implement you will be maxed also.

Does your half ton have the 5.3 in it?   If it does, I wouldn't think twice about doing it.   I used to have an 02 silverado with the 5.3 and with my equipment trailer, I pulled around my D15 which had a fully hydraulic loader on it, and other equipment as well.  It should handle it fine, but like the other stated, make sure you have good trailer brakes and a good trailer brake controller.
