Hi everyone, I got another project (or projects)! This may be a bit of a long term project, as I have enough in the works already, but when certain things come up for sale you just have to jump at the opportunity and dig into them a bit....
Be sure to let me know what you think, and add lots of advice on plows, as I am basically a rookie when it comes to these things!
Thanks

Good project. Your right, when opportunity knocks you have to answer! I've made good progress lately on the projects list, long term included. Of coarse there is the Amana show next weekend.....

Take that hitch and put it in an electrolysis system and it will clean it up like it was never rusty at all  Arm and Hammer washing soda and water, hook up a battery charger and watch it work.

This would be a good thing to try electrolysis on.  I've been kinda wanting to try it as I have not done so yet.  To be honest, I'm a little scared to do it with mixing electricity and water and all.

Perfectly safe Just get everything in place and then turn on the power, you are only dealing with 12 volts or so.  I just took a old carburetor that was rust from years of sitting, could move the seat to remove, put it on solution for two days comes right out.

The only thing to be concerned about, is build up of gasses. Do this in a well ventilated area and you won't have a problem. Contain the Hydrogen and Oxygen that escapes from the process in a small air tight area and a spark from your battery charger could remove a well built building. Shocked
I have read of guys digging a pit in the dirt, lining it with plastic and cleaning big parts that won't fit in a 5 gallon bucket or a 55 gallon barrel.
I used a 55 gallon barrel for the block  from my 35WC and it came out nearly as clean as a baked and shot peened block.
