Thanks

If it's factory they are ROPS. (Rollover Protection Structure)

Factory had additional bracing under the tractor....the roofs are quite nice if you are 5 foot tall...without the seatbelt they are not very safe...

Here is a test on a 190 with ROPS!

ROPS are designed for protection and requires seatbelt usage for protection as you could be pinned if trying to jump with protection around you.

The owners manual has installation instructions including bolt sizing and hardness, torque etc.

If you wear a seatbelt on an open platform you could be in danger by not being able to jump clear.

I have a 185 with ROPS and Canopy. Canopies are more difficult to find, built heavy and make excellent shade.

----I am looking for an additional Canopy for another ROPS install.

After you cut openings in the fenders, you'll throw up at what they look like.

I used spacers cut to length of thickness of side bars and put the fenders on outside of bars, ,, ,lose the innermost wheel tread spacing.

Joe do you have pictures of yours. I just thought if we were to put some sort of umbrella or canopy, use the factory looking one.
Thanks

I've always thought - couldn't they have changed the width just a little instead of cutting holes in the fenders!? That's just screwed up

They wanted to still be able to get to 60 inch wheel tread.

Yes Allis offered the ROPS with canopy. And be sure you get the underneath brackets that hold everything together!

General Backhoe Service manufactures the ROPS and canopy off the A-C Design. Based out of Milwaukee, WI, call 414-651-9017. Canopy can be purchased separately.
