I used a come-a-long on mine, a chain on each wing will work.

Also removed the rod end pin of the cylinder to let the wing go all the way down and rest on the main frame, but that is a pretty good "tug" to get up again.
Do not let it rest on cylinder hose fittings, they will break!

Depends on the age and width, but some of them had a special U-bolt with hairpin locks that was used as a safety lock. It was pretty crude and probably got lost or broken.

This is on a 1350. Don't know if it's the same as yours. Have to use a come along to take the pressure off the pin to remove or lock it in.

My 1200 goes over center but it's only 18-1/2 feet wide.

Mine had the crosspin setup on it. VERY hard to get out and in, always had to push mine over with the loader at home ---at the other farm I had to struggle with a loadbinder to get enough slack to drive the pin out.

I'll take a picture when I get to the farm today, if I can remember.

If it is the same age, I'd say yes. Changes were made over the years on some items and that particular design was kinda cheesey at best.
