Hello people,

I'm new here so a short introduction: I live in the Netherlands and we currently have two Allis-Chalmers tractors: a '39 orchard model B and a '29 model 20-35. In the past we had two FD3's (both low and high steer model), a WD, a CA, and a G.

At the moment I'm busy with the 20-35. A lot of repairs have to be done to the engine: valves and guides, crankshaft, all bearings, and 3 of the 4 cylinder liners are grooved or pitted by rust. With a lot of work and improvisation I can fix these things.

However there are some timing gears I need to replace because of broken teeth!
The crankshaft gear and the camshaft gear are the only ones that are undamaged. The three other gears (two intermediate gears and the water pump / magneto gear) are damaged beyond repair.

The gears are helical cut gears, not straight cut like the older (pre '29) ones.

Is here a forum member who perhaps has these gears and want to sell?

The water pump / magneto gear: 26 teeth
Small intermediate gear: 38 teeth
Large intermediate gear: 56 teeth

Thanks! Sjors

I think there used to be someone on this forum that sold new engine parts like overhaul kits and gaskets. Timing gears, I don't know.

Try Mark, he may be able to help.  He is the one who took over Norm Meinerts business, which I believe is who Lonn is probably referring.
To my knowledge there are no new gears available, so you will have to find good used ones.
