 Dear Friends, I'm new here and hoping for some help. I'm looking to purchse a Allis Chalmers crawler loader but don't know the year and model. I have yet to see it in person and would like to do some research ahead of time. It looks like it could/might be a model HD-6G? Besides some painted decals or insignias, which I think are gone, will there be any other identification numbers that will positively ID this machine and the year it was made? Supposedly it runs and drives fine. Whats the most I should pay? What major things should I be concerned about and be looking for when the time comes? Thank you in advance, Steve |

Ok. Thanks. If dash plaque and serial number are present, is DOM encoded within or is there a listing somewhere that shows DOM by serial #. Thanks.

OK, i brought my books with me today.
