How much calcium chloride fluid would there be in a 24.5 x 32 rear tire on a D21?  The manual says 1600 lbs of weight, but I need to know how many barrels I will need to drain both tires.  I know both tires are near full, but I don't have a clue in terms of the number of gallons.  The new tires will be dry, but the cost of them has my eyes wet!

Thanks in advance!

You’re tire man can tell you how much is in your tire by the charts they have.

CaCL weights 12 pounds per gallon ......... so 1600 / 12 = 133 gallons.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Found charts that say 140 to 170 gallons of water per tire, depending on the chart. Higher percentage of calcium the less water. Search now much ballast in 24.5 x 32 tire and you will find several options of charts.

Weight varies by specific gravity

Just as a reference, when I drained a pair of 18.4 x 28 tires, it took three 55 gallon drums for two tires.
