I'm going to be switching out my narrow front end for a wide front end and I've been told that the easiest way to change the front bolster is by removing the radiator which if im going to do that I'm going to drain flush and change the radiator fluid while I'm at it so that I have peace of mind that it's in good working order, anybody have experience with doing this and needing to remove the radiator?

That would be the way! After it is stripped bare in the front you only have the four studs to slide the bolster off and slide the other one back on the studs. I have always done it by myself but it would be prudent to have help. It is heavy and floppy even with an engine lift and floor jacks.

Hmmm, don't have engine lift or multiple floor Jack's( I just figured on using a long sling under and up to trusses I trust for the load)

You could still make that work with blocking to crib up to the levels needed to get the wishbone to line up as you slide the bolster over the studs.

I just block under the torque tube and use a cherry picker
