A couple called on Friday to look, showed them yesterday and they put down a $10k deposit today with no contingencies, no realtors and we will carry a short term contract with $200k down.....we put up 2 signs by the side of the road 3 weeks ago. Sometimes things just work out, selling to a nice couple about the same age as us. We are moving across the road, so look forward to a new friendship and nice neighbors.

Still doing the custom tractor work from across the road, just limiting it to summer months and will spend the winters in St. George, Utah. Maybe in a few years I will fully retire. In the meantime I will be thinning the Orange herd a little at a time.

Congratulations, Eldon!  Now you can do what you want, when you want.  And don't be afraid to re-stock the AC herd.  Sell some, buy more!!

Just get rid of the green ones!
Glad the place sold quickly, now, of course, you start wondering if you under priced it...

We knew with our price range and what we had,  it would take a unique buyer. We may have gotten more with a realtor involved, but by the time you deduct their fees I'm sure it would have been a wash or less. We are happy!

No tractors as of yet! He said he has a backhoe to move snow with...probably heated and AC, so my old stuff would be a step backward.

My Uncle and Aunt in Cd'A will not be happy as the area around there swells with housing sites, they moved there knowing of the produce farms and have enjoyed those fresh goods for a number of years now.
