Poor ole Les. I am feeling bad for him. He's supposed to be enjoying retirement. Not busier and more stressed out than ever. Wonder if he ever got anywhere with that Jack wagon that screwed him on the well drilling equipment. Darrel

I’m hoping he and the nurse make it down here this year to ride motorcycles.

Ole Thad got me to thinkin that there really isn't a good reason that I shoukldn't be takin a little relax time and shoot the bull with you fellers. The nurse even said I been a bear as of late so I'm thinkin I'm not giving me some time to unwind. So I thought I'd dish me up a big bowl Of ice cream and sit and share the world with you fellers tonight. An by the way, thet Schwans Ice cream is the best ice cream in the world, me thinks.
I'm still goimg at it sunup to sun down but I promise I'll take the time to give you fellas a little heads up on whats been happening. To muh to type all in one night but rest easy guys. I'm alright and things have a way of working out in the end.
I just have one question.
Shameless, when are ya gonna come gits that cotton pickin windmill?

and lookin' at myself in the mirror, seeing my own future Curmudgeion-ness approaching rapidly!
Les- glad to see 'ya back in the saddle.
Joe- I passed through your state THREE TIMES, and you didn't manage to catch me. Your Border Patrol is SLACKIN'...

But......but.........windmill will not do anything unless your local climate is changing. OR you figure we are all so full of hot air we could make the mill work without wind????

Les. If you ever head east on HW 92, just before you get to Winterset on the left hand side of the road is Rose Acre Chicken Farm. They usually have a half dozen new pallets sitting out by the highway. They will be on the left side of the driveway. If there is some sitting there, they are free for the taking. They had at least a dozen sitting there this afternoon.

Wonder how many he needs. Probably a lot to store ferd parts on them. Heck it's only less than an hour over there. These pallets is like new. If I gets this newer pickup bought, it'll need a road trip or 3 before the old gal drags me out farther. Here's hoping Les is ok.
