On several parts sites I have seen several widths of webbing to go between parts. My question is whether webbing was used between the sheet metal joints on a model B. In particular, between fuel tank, the hood, and the hold down strap that runs across the hood.

My B has it between the hood and the fuel tank and between the strap and the hood and I believe some under the tank also. Anywhere you have the possibility of movement between metal parts is a good place for the webbing. I picked up some cork material to use in place of the fabric webbing. It has worked just as good and it was free.
