The governor on my D15 and my I600 forklift are both leaking where the shaft comes out of the housing. It looks like the shaft is welded to the fork.

Thanks. Brian

I have to think maybe there's a rollpin holding it in. Manual says it's an 'assembly', so not designed to be tore apart and rebuilt.
All 3 of my D-14s 'weep'  so it's normal to me too !
If (IF...) there's enough space , you could cut an Oring, put on shaft, then glue the Oring back together. There's a special glue for that, Oring supplier gave me some 40 year ago, and no, I have NO idea where it is.. Ideally it should be resealed from the inside though.

I could tear aprt my running parts D-14 but have a few raindrops to deal with here.....

There is no rollpin, the shaft is welded to the fork. My dealer still lists the part # for a housing for $520.

That would buy a lot of oil and car washes.        MACK

If it was just a trickle I would leave it. The I600 didnt leak, because it had very little oil pressure. The D15 puller leaked enough to be a little annoying. When the head gasket went in the forklift I put the motor out of the D15 in it and used the I600 governor housing.Oil is leaking so bad that the fan just blows it everywhere.
