I must have a plow addiction! Went to the local consignment auction Saturday. Found this 2 bottom snap coupler specimen. You don't find them this nice very often so it 'had' to come home with me. Beaming screw is free, not sure about the other adjustments. Shares and moldboard are in great shape. Need to polish the bottoms a little before I put it in the dirt. I know the previous owner, think he was happy with the price, was standing next to him when it sold. He also sold a WD, pretty nice tractor. It only brought $500, just don't need another.

This could knock a couple of steps off of my plowing with the CA dream.

So a little more about this. Measured today, it's a 2-14.

Even though the weather was crappy I had a great AC weekend. Getting the plow was great but I also got a set of duals from HD6GTom and got the tour of his AC stuff. Sunday I worked on some other orange projects. Got the overheating WD buttoned up. Then worked on my 3-16 model 63 (I think) plow. Have had this one for several years, had a bent pull bar. Parts from three plows should get this one going. Here's a shot as the reassembly just beginning.

Coulters, left them off until I can get the bottoms polished up a bit.

Put the CA on the trailer to go see the doc and get the battery charging problem resolved.

Mike - nice plows! I've got a 3-bottom like yours sitting mostly in pieces. Maybe this will inspire me to get it back together. Plan is to pull it with the WD45. Now you just need another CA - or figure out how to plow with that mower slung under the one you have. LOL

Dave, I have a line on another CA. Just need to get done planting, and the owner the same. It's going to need some love so the one I have now will probably have to mow all year. Made an appointment at the electrical shop to get the charging fixed today. May get the new manifold and muffler on before long too!

Worked om removing whats left of the rim after you cut the rail out today. Got two done, only 6 to go! I'm really enjoying working on some of my 'long term projects'. The last two years were so hectic not much got done on them.

Sounds like major progress, Mike. Bringing them back to life is half the fun....putting them to work is the rest. LOL
