I need a new storm door on the garage. The wind caught it one day, and beat it to death! Said to the wife about what she thought would be the best. MISTAKE. She said that we need a new one on the kitchen as well, since you can see them both at the same time, and now longer can get just one replacement for the garage to match. Then she said, "since we are looking for these 2 doors, might as well get a new door/storm door for the front as well!".. ... You can do them all at the same time!!! Why did I open my mouth????

It really wouldn't have made any difference.. When you replace the garage door, she'd notice next day and say ,'you better do the kitchen door to match', then AFTER you do that one , she'd say 'might as well replace the front door too'. This way you can buy ALL 3 doors in ONE trip.... maybe get a 'bulk purchase' discount ?? | Jay, as you said, the more the better. I am getting a price from the lumber yard in the area, but they have trouble competing with the box stores. The one good thing with the box store, we can get the 24 month same as cash, that helps out! I have the money, but might as well use theirs for 24 months! lol |

Much easier to replace all of them at one time, by the time you get the first one done the other two will go much faster. But.........you should have known better and planned on all three without having to be told. ------------- Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God. |
