Question for the historians out there.

How many assembly lines for tractors did they have running at a time?

For example, in 1951,  when they were producing the U, UC, WF, WD, B, C, CA, and IB, did they produce them all simultaneously, or did they produce U's for a while, then changed the assembly line over to produce UC's?

But, by 1958, they were only producing the D-14 and the D-17.  Did they shut the other lines down and lay off all those other workers?

Just curious, thanks.

When I toured the plant in 1976 they were making the 7000s and 100s on rhe same line.
