Guys we set up for a 2.5 day show at the iowa state fairgrounds today. We ran from 5.00 till9.00 tonight. Mot as much fun as usual, throwed my back out late last week and was a real painful day. But still had fun with the gals, sold more than usual for 1/2 day. Dont nobody tell ol Shameless. We was set up 1 booth away from Tabor Winery. They gots real good drinking stuff and give free samples. We are gonna both be at the mid America Center in Council Bluffs in 2 weeks at the Callahan Show there. Hoping ol Doc can pop my back in on Monday. Usually takes 2- 5 trips to get this spot in.

A Callahan show. It is a large craft show put on by a man named Tom Callahan. He organizes them around Iowa, rents the buildings, sets up things so people can sell crafts, home made stuff, etc. Sorta expensive but works for us.

We were just in Pleasant Hills this weekend. We used to stay at the motel just across from the fairgrounds but the service and rooms have been no longer acceptable. We did talk to some vendors where we did stay. They said Fri was not so great but Sat was wall to wall. What do you go by at the shows? Maybe sometime if we are down there we would stop by.

We go by Randol Honey Farm. Selling honey from our bees, lotions, no bake cheese cake mixes, bees wax and products made from honey, etc. The products are made in a state and federal inspected facility. We are just inside the south rollup door. We had a great FRiday and Sat. Was ok on Sunday. Old gal says we will be at the Council Bluffs show. Stop by, I am usually good for a cup ofcoffee and a little conversation but I'll warn ya, the old gal is far more gabby than I am. Nothing she liked better than grabbing for hours
