Thought I would throw a few pictures out there of some led's I put on.  Bought a set of 10 off eBay.  They were cheap, will see how long they last.

I like the original look with the glare guard on them so I had a local diesel shop cut 8 short air intake hoses for them.  It was 4.5" hose which fit fairly snug but I put 3 screws in the back of each, you know so they don't come off when I'm doing 80 down the interstate.  I bought a black paint pen and colored the threads on the end of the hose and the screw heads.

The 2 lower front ones I had to flip the bracket upside down or the back of the light would hit on the bolt head and it would point down too far.  Maybe later I will come up with a better setup for those 2.   I still had to space out that bracket about a 1/4in away from the cab.

Wow they are bright.

LB,

Instead of putting washers under the lower light mount, you could use a piece of angle iron 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" approx.   That would bring the light out further from the cab and allow more adjustment on the light.

I have a pair of those mounted on the flat top fenders of my Ford tractor. I love them and for the price, you cannot beat them. They are far better than the stock lights and draw less power. So far mine have lasted 3 years and about 300 hours of constant vibration being on the fenders and they still work great. I really light the hose idea you came up with.

If you use the wedge washers from wc WD front end, one between bracket and cab one under bolt head . this way it is shimed out and by rotating the wedges you get side to side as well as up and down adjustment

Well I tried to get some pictures tonight.  My $40 camera would just not show how much overkill these lights are.  I bet you could see down the road at least a 1/4 mile, and it is a very clear light.  Makes everything seem crisp and lit up if that makes any sense.
