Well, thanks to all for your prayers, they mean a lot! Long day today. Original plan was to do a biopsy, 3 inch incision, small hole in scull and take some sample for testing, as they were not sure what, exactly the mass is/was. However, when we arrived at the hospital this morning that had changed for some reason and they attempted to remove it. Glioma Tumor, and they got about 50% of it. Not sure what the direction is going forward is, probably learn that tomorrow

So sorry to hear about this, Lou.
Thoughts and prayers are being sent to you and your family, especially your son.  Had a cousin that had this about 40 years ago.  He's in his early 70s now and doing fine.  I'm praying for the same outcome for your son!
God bless ALL of you!!

Again, thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. roughly 8 hours of surgery, a titanium plate on his head with screws and 'railroad track' arcing over a good bit of his head, Doc's feel they got about 50% of the tumor, the remaining 50% rooted in the brain tissue. We haven't heard the biopsy results yet, but Doc's don't think it is malignant. Son faces weeks/months of radiation, or chemo, or both to treat the remaining tumor tissue. Docs think the prognosis is good
