Craig, Sure hope you've got all your preparations complete and the family safely isolated from Michael. I should have posted this Monday to let you know if the family needed a place to stay they are more than welcome over here. At any rate, it looks like a doozey and am praying for you, your family, and the A-C collection you have. God Bless.

Well,,I'm prayin for all the people that are in the path of this latest hurricane,,susspossed to be a doooooozy. Our #2 Son is currently stationed at Eglin AFB, a little west of Panama city. SOME people cannot evacuate and he told us yesterday that since he is Mission Essential, they are hunkered down., but very safe. They flew all the jets out to bases farther inland tho. Just gotta keep prayin for all those folks,,,,,

Thanks Bob for the kind offer and everyone else for checking on us... This Allis family always amazes me... We're not gonna get it real bad here. It looks like it it's going to wipe out Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe area. It will look like a bomb went off along the coast. I'm hearing reports from people who decided to ride it out over in that area and they are second guessing that now.. I hate it for those folks.... I'll hold my comments about that and be praying for their safety.
Joe Eglin is literally at our back door.On the South side of interstate 10.Our land borders the North side. We may see some 60mph wind but all will be ok.... The water is what really does the damage. Nothing can stop the water.... The rest is from trees falling on houses. After this goes through we will start tomorrow morning at 6 with restoration. I've been assigned the downtown Destin area for now but will probably be going to Panama after. Some crews are starting this afternoon at 7. Thanks again for the prayers and keeping us all in mind... I hate that I'm gonna miss the show in Gadsden and my AC buddies but we have got to take care of the folks here. I'll keep yall posted...

Prayers for all in the path of the storm. Sounds like southwest Georgia up to middle Georgia will get hit pretty hard, don't know if we have any Forum members down that way. Going down to the farm tomorrow to see if I have any damage there.

Glad you two guys are safe and sound. Prayers going out for everyone involved. Heard this morning that somebody was killed in Georgia. A tree fell on him. Hopefully that will be the only one.

We got 6" of rain today in about 6 hours. Worse flooding I have ever seen. Luckily no trees down on the farm but all around me is bad with power outages. Was a whole lot worse than Hurricane Florence.

We got 6" of rain from Wed. morning to Thur. afternoon, creeks and rivers came up and out of the banks, in a short time after rain stopped the water receded pretty quick, of course We live on a hill, nearest creek or river probably 3 to 5 miles. Prayers for all down stream.

Well folks all I can say is it's bad..... really bad.... Complete devastation in the Panama City area and some surrounding counties. The outpouring of help is amazing. I've worked many hurricanes, tornadoes and Ice storms and I rank this towards the top of the list of damage. Some members of a storm restoration team talked to us late last night. They go all over ther country for storms. They said it seems like a big scale of the tornadoes that wiped out Tuscaloosa. Please keep praying for those folks affected.

Looked like Tyndal AFB was really worked over too, Prayers for everyone living there as they pick up the pieces of them lives, and to y’all as you help get them going again! Stay safe!!
