Sore subject . This is the weekend my motorcycle group comes to town. They’re all on the road or already here. They’ll have to fend for themselves again on Friday. This is the 4th year in a row that we’re just too busy for me to have one day off. Now a little birdie tells me he’s gonna ask us all to work all weekend. I smell a change in my future.

Well since your headed out just keep on going its party time out here. Towns wing ding called Pioneer Day is next Saturday. A dozen or so crawler tractors down main street,a few giant steel wheel gas tractors and maybe a steam engine or 2. An the end of grape picking so the wino's celebrate the next weekend I think.

If you are gone camping, who the hell is at home running the machine. It is spitting that white stuff all over up here. Don't tell me ya got one of them toy haulers, and the toy that it just happened to haul is the machine....? So you can make life miserable for others even while you're having fun camping...? Nice guy, you are. Darrel

yep….i'll puts it on auto pilot (or blast as John calls it), there's plenty of diesel in the tank for it, it don't matter here if it snows, the corn is dropping off the stalks onto the ground now. I picked sum up to feed the goose's at the lake! sposed to rain all week end here, that don't bother us nun. the dogs will just stay wet longer! I bought a whole big bag of tennis balls for them to chase and retrieve. seems we usually lose 1-2 in the lake each time for some reason, usually on windy days. we've never had the awning out yet on this camper, might have to if it rains! otherwise i'll just put the grill on the flatbed of the truck and duck under the nose of the fifth wheel! GrayRay...we gadgiated from the tent thing, as your loving wife gits older, you'll understand!

Hmmmmmmm…………., plenty of diesel, no one home,....? Dogs aren't there? I need some diesel for the corn harvest? My service tank is empty and already loaded up in the pickup. Machine can't run if diesel tank "should happen to go empty"? I love it when a plan come together!!!!!!!
Rain all weekend, and that doesn't bother you? If it's raining, you can't leave the camper, you know...…..Oh,,,....now I am catching on, you old dog you. Darrel

You know we never got up to the motor home thingie,,,,shoot,,,never had enough money to afford one of them gas guzzlers,,,(poke, poke, poke) Talkin bout that tho,,,I remember when first married, we always used to do lots of campin up in the mountains,,,,no motor home, no tent, just a good sized Army tarp and a bunk bed mattress in the back of my ole 1959 Chevy trk,,,,,plenty of blankies cause it was some cold at nite Then when the first boy was born,,I had to upsize to a Camper Shell and I put a 3/4" piece of plywood across the front of the camper shell for one mattress and another mattress under the plywood and then we was really "chittin in tall cotton" with TWO mattress,,, Then when them other boys started showin up,,,I had to buy a shore enough Campin Trailer. Chit,,you'ld a thought we was high class pullin thet trailer down the highway,,,,,

I gots a class "C" and a class"A", and now the fifthwheel. both motorhomes are back in the shed. prolly should sell them! i'm not sure I like pulling the fifth wheel, think I likes the class "A" lots better for traveling. our tent finally rotted away before we went with our first camper. we also had a pickup topper for awhile, but just used it to keep the camping stuff clean and dry.

Been camping at the flea mkt since wed. It's been poring for 2 days. There are several hundred campers here. I see, about 2 miles south of town, there's a guy gots a 4x4 AC not 8550 but the next 1 smaller. Might have to ride the goof cart down and have him hall this old Winnebago to the rock driveway a block away.

We got in around 350 miles yesterday. We went to Mt. Magazine then across to Mt. Nebo then hey 21 home. A fun day for sure. We never saw one dip of rain. It rained off and on at the camp ground but never where we were. I feel blessed to have such a good day. The nephew of the guy that used to build my race motors went with us so we had someone to pick on too.

My motorcycle forum is very similar to this one in that it’s a pain to post pics. Our motor cycle forum now has a Facebook page and very simple to post pics, links and such. We got several pics but I can’t post them here.

| Prayers sent your way Les. I know back problems well. I have to stop more than some on the bike and catch a little slack for it. I’m really good at making it look like it’s someone else’s idea to stop. I’ve been to several chiropractor through the years and I’ve found walking on crutches helps me more than anything. I manage to keep the ibuprofen company in business. Hang in there and get ready to go south next year. Hoping things get better
