| Looked at a nice D10 III with the optional range transmission. How rare are they and how would it increase the value? Seemed like a straight little tractor, had just been painted with a back yard paint job. Really lowered the value to me. |

It adds a good bit of value. A lot of people want them. It all depends on condition and location. It would probably be worth $2000 more than a comparable Series II or Series III without the hi/lo. The back yard paint job is a negative. I just posted this Series II that is for sale in TN on craigslist if anyone is looking for one. The seller wants $4000, but will probably get $3500. If the tractor you are looking at looks this good, it would be worth about $5500-$6000.  |

It makes it a great lil garden tilling tractor, wif a 5' roto-tiller. 4 speed just can't go slow enough...

2 Speed units are much more expensive than the single range tractors. A back yard paint job can be fixed quite easily.
