I really love the AC industrial yellow, it's kinda got some gold to it. Looks very similar to the Terra-Gator yellow to me.

Stan, it drives along the beach, plowing up the top couple of inches, then the conveyor system brings the sand up across screens that allow the sand to fall back through to the beach and collects the trash to the bin in the rear. Pretty much the same design used today to keep beaches clean - [TUBE]Y3ixjZqPGH8[/TUBE]

Pulls sand and trash up the conveyor belt, sand falls thru but trash is dumped into the storage bin. When full, it is then dumped into a waiting truck to be hauled away.

Yes Beirnesy it looks very familiar! Looks like George didn't get any offers that met his reserve and is ready to let it go to a new home. I got the last Canadian sold OneNinety diesel Beachmaster tractor last fall. Needs lots of TLC

I used to see this very machine clean the beach in Ocean City, MD years ago. It was "state of the art" technology then. As stated above they use almost the exact same sand sifter with much more powerful tractors. Allis Chalmers sold these to several beaches east and west coast for sand cleaning. I remember talking with the operators and was told it took every ounce of power to pull. Sifting Sand takes heavy duty POWER!! Today they use almost the same technology with much more powerful tractors. They were using IH this year looked to be about 180hp. Twice plus the HP of the 190 and it needed it all. I bought on ebay some very old Old Allis News magazines and one featured the Beach Master. Can't put my hands on it right now but it has some very interesting history. A piece of history. Good Luck! I do know a little about this sanitizer unit. I was bought new by the city of Toronto but spent most of its life near Niagara Falls. It is completely restored including a new chain. I don't know anything about the OneNinety except that it is a diesel which seems to be uncommon.

As I remember there was an invasive species of fish, Aleife, into the Great Lakes. They would die off and wash up onto the beaches. I thought that the Beachmaster/sanitizer was made to clean up the dead Aleife.

If I am not mistaken, I believe back in the day Summerix Implement in Lachine sold a few of these as well. As Dusty mentioned, the beaches of the Great Lakes needed cleaning too

The photographer illuminated certain area with softer yellow lighting. If you look again. I believe it's just the inner wheel casting that has that yellow light affect upon it.

Looks like a lighting reflection inside the left wheel. I have seen this rig in person and didn't notice anything odd.
